Dr. Thomas A. Daniels
Dr. Daniels is a native of Rockford, a graduate of East High School and of Rockford College. He received his dental degree at the University of Minnesota and continued on with graduate work in biochemistry while completing a two-year residency and Master of Science degree in orthodontics. Following his orthodontic residency, he was invited to join the full-time faculty of the Division of Orthodontics, teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels. In 1980, he and his wife, also a Rockford native, decided to move back home to establish this office. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Winnebago County Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontists, Midwest Society of Orthodontists, Illinois Society of Orthodontists and other professional organizations. Dr. Daniels is an invited lecturer at state, national and international orthodontic meetings. He is a member of the Editorial Board of The Angle Orthodontist international journal and serves on the Admission Committee of the Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists. In addition to his love for orthodontics, he enjoys skiing, mountain climbing, flying, photography and building musical instruments. He and his wife have three children. |
Dr. Timothy A. Theisen Dr. Theisen is a native of Sugar Grove, Illinois. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from St. John's University and his dental degree from Northwestern University Dental School. He earned his Masters of Science degree in orthodontics and completed his orthodontic specialty residency at the University of Illinois. In 1989, Dr. Theisen joined Dr. Daniels in this office. Dr. Theisen is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Winnebago County Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontists, Midwest Society of Orthodontists, Illinois Society of Orthodontists and other professional organizations. His orthodontic research has been published in The American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, a highly respected international journal. Dr. Theisen has lectured at the American Association of Orthodontists annual conference and is active in continuing education. He is also a fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontics and a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. He enjoys nature, physical fitness, sports, reading, photography and spending time with his family. He and his wife have one daughter and reside in Rockford. |
